Egypt: A suicide bombing on the way to Arish in Sinai was thwarted

The security forces in Egypt recently (Thursday) thwarted an attempted attack on a security crossing in El Arish. According to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of the Interior, a suicide bomber who arrived at the security crossing where Egyptian soldiers are stationed was shot by the forces on the spot before he had time to blow up the explosive belt he was carrying.
