The Israel Police will restrict the introduction of encouragement equipment to Bloomfield Stadium following the lighting of flares and the throwing of objects

Following a number of recent incidents at football matches at Bloomfield Stadium, which included throwing smoke grenades, burning candles, and throwing objects at the field, the Israel Police will restrict the introduction of types of encouragement accessories to the field.

In the last game in Bloomfield, a number of fans were injured and needed medical treatment following the dumping of objects and the game was stopped several times by the referee.

In a special situation assessment conducted by the Yiftach Area Commander, Deputy Superintendent Haim Bublil determined that as part of drawing lessons from recent events and in order to maintain public peace, it was decided to limit, until further notice, the introduction of encouragement equipment to the field. The Israel Police clarifies that this restriction does not constitute a punishment but a binding move to prevent injury and danger to life to the audience who come to the field.
