A call was received yesterday (Thursday) at the center of the “Friends” organization, about a two-year-old toddler who was accidentally locked in a car in front of her mother, on Dror Street in Rosh HaAyin. The drives of the organization’s city branch, responded to the call and arrived quickly at the scene. Using the equipment in their possession, the volunteers rescued the toddler safely, without causing any damage to the vehicle.

Yaron, one of the organization’s volunteers who came to the rescue, said: "I was home at the time of receiving the call, and straight up I got on the scooter and drove to the place. Immediately after me came the volunteers Daniel Kafri and Yaniv Malchi and together, in cooperation, we managed to open the vehicle despite the stormy weather. The mother thanked us very much, and said that the fact that we arrived quickly reassured her greatly. I came out with a great sense of satisfaction".
