A resident of Lod was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking while in possession of dozens of doses of heroin and cocaine

During the activity of the municipal police unit in Beit Shemesh last night (Sunday), a resident of Lod in his twenties was arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking. During a search of his vehicle, police located dozens of doses of the suspected substance as heroin-type drugs and cocaine ready for distribution. In addition, a number of mobile phones and cash were seized in his vehicle.

The arrested suspect was taken for questioning at the Beit Shemesh police station and his vehicle was seized. Today he will be brought before a court to extend his detention.

The police said: "The Israel Police will continue to act resolutely against the threat of dangerous drugs, with an emphasis on the perpetrators of the crime and the distributors and drug dealers."
