Following the outbreak of bird flu in several centers in Israel, the Ministry of Health today (Tuesday) sharpens its routine guidelines before consuming chicken and egg products.

The public is required to make sure to purchase only in regulated places and eggs signed with a stamp of supervision. Care should be taken to thoroughly cook eggs and chicken, maintain hygiene and wash hands after contact with meat or eggs and separate animal food before cooking with other foods. The public is also asked to exercise caution in front of the migratory birds to keep their distance and avoid contact with them.
