Influenza prices: A 31-year-old pregnant woman in her ninth month died as a result of the disease

A 31-year-old woman, in her ninth month of pregnancy, was hospitalized at Hadassah Mount Scopus in Jerusalem two weeks ago, in light of a significant deterioration due to the flu she suffered from. Upon hospitalization she underwent a caesarean section during which a healthy baby was born followed by respiration and anesthesia due to respiratory complications.

Despite an improvement in her condition in recent days, tonight (Friday) her body systems collapsed and despite intensive resuscitation efforts performed by the intensive care unit staff, he was forced to determine her death. The case was reported to the Ministry of Health.

Hadassah reported: "We share in the grief of the family. The hospital staff accompanies her at this difficult time."
