A 35-year-old worker was injured recently (Wednesday) after being electrocuted at a construction site on Rabbi Yosef Mashash Street in Ashdod. Medics and paramedics from Med"A. They provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him to Assuta Hospital in the city, while performing resuscitation operations. Police officers arrived at the scene investigating the circumstances of the incident, a report was forwarded to the Ministry of Labor.
Medicators"A., Amit Vaknin and Zvi Zilberman said: "We arrived at the scene and saw the laborer lying unconscious on the road suffering from electric shock marks on his body. We performed medical tests on him, he was without a pulse and without breathing and we started performing resuscitation operations on him that included massages and resuscitation, we put him in an intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital while continuing to perform resuscitation operations when his condition was critical."
Menachem Eichler, medic of the Rescue Union, said: "This is a truck driver who was electrocuted, with the help of other medics we performed resuscitation operations on him, then he was taken to Assuta Medical Center during the resuscitation operations when his condition was critical.".
