A call was received today (Wednesday) at the point of the “Friends” organization, about a two-and-a-half-year-old toddler who was accidentally locked in a car in front of her mother, on Or Lezion Street in Ashdod. David Partosh, a volunteer at the Ashdod branch, responded to the call and, using the equipment in his possession, rescued the toddler, without causing damage to the vehicle.
David tells: "I left the house to call for vehicle propulsion when the emergency call was received. I informed the applicant that I would be delayed and hurried to the scene. The vehicle was propelled and I was able to open the door by pressing the button and opening the window using the opening gear. The mother thanked me with tears of happiness. Exciting that I was able to rescue a girl this morning".
Friends repeatedly call on parents to carry the car key and not give it to children.
