A 60-year-old man collapsed recently (Thursday) and lost consciousness (apparently due to a heart attack) while cycling on Daniel Street in Bat Yam. Medics and paramedics from Med"A. was given medical treatment, resuscitation was performed on him and after the pulse returned he was evacuated to Wolfson Hospital in stable condition.
The medics of Med"Hagai Netani and Ahmad Abu Saif, said: "We quickly reached the scene and saw the man lying unconscious near the bike after collapsing while riding. He was without a pulse and without breathing and we immediately started performing advanced resuscitation operations that included massages, resuscitation and giving a shake from the pacemaker (defibrillator) and after the pulse returned we put him in the intensive care unit and evacuated him to the hospital in a stable condition."
