Exception: giving birth to Babi"H. Beilinson was diagnosed with coronary heart disease and influenza – simultaneously

A mother in her thirties was unvaccinated and a 38-week-old girl was diagnosed by staff at the Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva with corona and flu. The midwife was released today (Thursday) in good general condition along with the baby.

Professor Arnon Viznitzer, director of the Beilinson Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, said: We treated her with a drug combination that targets both corona and flu. We are seeing more and more morbidity of influenza among the maternity population, along with cases of corona that mainly occur in women not vaccinated against corona and influenza. This is certainly a challenging time, and in addition to coronary heart disease, we are increasingly suffering from the flu. ‘
