A 30-year-old cyclist was recently injured (Friday) in a car accident on Road 375 near Moshav Mata. Medics and paramedics from Med"He was given medical treatment and evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, in a critical condition from unconsciousness, with a head injury. Examiners of the Traffic Division of the Israel Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident. Following the accident, the said section of the road was blocked for traffic, until the end of the treatment and investigation of the scene of the accident.
David Leff, an ambulance driver and head of the Ihud Hatzalah branch in Beit Shemesh, said: "It was an accident involving a bicycle and a bus. We provided first aid at the scene to the cyclist who was injured in the head and limbs, after which he was evacuated in an intensive care unit to Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in Jerusalem, at which point his condition is defined as moderate.".
