Fifth wave: The government has rejected the vote to approve the green label regulations

At its weekly meeting today (Sunday), the government approved the following decisions as part of the continued treatment of the Omicron wave:

• The obligation to perform a corona examination at the entrance to Israel will be extended until Monday, February 7.

• Obligation to perform a weekly inspection for a crew member entering Israel from a country to which departure was not restricted, even if he stayed in that country for less than 12 hours and did not leave the airport area.

  • These decisions will take effect at midnight between Monday and Tuesday, January 11, subject to the approval of the Knesset’s Constitution Committee.

• Restrictions on airports will be extended until Monday, February 7.

  • This decision will take effect immediately, subject to the approval of the Knesset’s Economics Committee.

• The technological supervision of those entering Israel (the agreement) will be extended until Tuesday, the ninth of February.

  • This decision will take effect immediately, subject to the approval of the Knesset’s Constitution Committee.

• The Green Label regulations will be submitted for approval later in a telephone poll.
