An indictment was filed against a volunteer at the police station for committing sexual offenses on a volunteer with whom he served

The Police Investigations Department today (Monday) filed an indictment in the Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court against Ronen Sofer, 52, a police volunteer, for committing sexual offenses with another volunteer who served with him at the police station.

According to the indictment, filed through Adv"D. Batya Kolitz, the defendant wrote and recorded for the complainant hundreds of messages and proposals designed to be of a distinctly sexual nature, sent her illustrations and virtual stickers of a sexual nature, offered her to perform massages on her and asked to travel with her without the presence of others. In addition, on a number of different occasions, the defendant used to touch the complainant in various ways. He committed the acts without the complainant’s consent and against her will.

The indictment attributes to him the commission of offenses of indecent act and sexual harassment. The investigation was conducted by the Tel Aviv staff in the Police Investigations Department.
