For ten days now, the entire Kapah family and the Ratzabi family have been mobilized every evening to carry out institutional corona tests of the Star of David Adom for the residents of the Lachish Regional Council. With the outbreak of the Omicron wave, Eldad Kapah and Avinoam Ratzabi undertook to open a corona testing complex within the council’s area and allow residents to test close to home.

In collaboration with Magen David Adom and the Regional Council, they set up a testing complex in the village of Carmei Katif and for hours they staff the complex with the help of additional volunteers and sample hundreds of people every day.

The children of the families were also recruited for the mission and together with neighbors and classmates they report every day after school and help with the necessary logistics. Based on the amount of food and hot drinks that are in the complex at all times, it is possible to understand how much the residents of the communities thank them for the blessed activity.
