A 22-year-old man was recently injured (Thursday) in a car accident between two vehicles on Road 31 near the Shoket junction. Rescue and firefighters from the Hura station arrived at the scene, identified a trapped person in one of the vehicles, and immediately began rescue operations using hydraulic tools. MDA medics and paramedics provided him with primary medical care and he was taken to Soroka Hospital in critical condition with a head injury. A 32-year-old man was taken to hospital in a mild-moderate condition.
MDA paramedic Guy Tzin and paramedic Yaron Barel said: “We arrived at the scene of the accident and saw two vehicles with severe tin damage. A 22-year-old man who was lying unconscious and suffering from a very severe head injury was seriously injured and another wounded man walking around the scene was lightly-moderately injured. We provided them with primary medical care in the field and evacuated them in an intensive care unit to the hospital. ”
Examiners of the police traffic department are investigating the circumstances of the traffic.
