MDA thickens medical aid system with plowing: "MDA's beating heart is human capital"

Ten MDA volunteers, residents of Harish, received drive equipment this week that includes advanced resuscitation equipment and will now, in addition to activities on ambulances and intensive care vehicles, also serve as rapid response drives and help strengthen the Magen David Adom medical system in the city and surrounding communities. In addition, 3 pairs of electric ambulances were distributed to MDA volunteers in plowing through which they will be able to reach emergencies that are challenging to access, as quickly as possible.

Dozens of MDA volunteers work in plowing, including doctors, paramedics, medics and youth volunteers who provide first aid. Magen David Adom operates an ambulance in the city 7 days a week, and in addition there are two MDA community ambulances that are operated by MDA volunteers in the city 24 hours a day.

Yossi Rekaha, Director of the Sharon Area at MDA: “Along with the advanced medical equipment, MDA’s beating heart is the quality and professional human capital, which saves lives on the ground every day. We welcome the new drives and are sure that with their help we will enable an even faster, professional and even more efficient medical envelope – for the benefit of the residents of Harish and the surrounding communities. “
