The chairman of the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, MK Rabbi Gilad Karib (Labor), responded today (Thursday) to the plea deal with MK Yaakov Litzman: “The plea deal with MK Litzman must include disgrace. A minister who exploits his position to prevent the extradition of a sex offender suspect in minors, violates trust not only towards the state but towards every boy and girl who needs protection from those who seek to stifle their cry. “If such a breach of trust does not lead to disgrace, it is highly doubtful that this important legal and value concept is still valid.”
