The Histadrut and the Jerusalem Witnesses Association have signed a special collective agreement, which will apply to about 350 workers and will be valid for the next three years. According to the agreement, the wages of the workers will be increased gradually according to a fixed mechanism and in accordance with the position and seniority, and additional evening, night and holiday shifts will be provided. Incentives will also be provided for full-time work and supplements for productivity (several treatments).
The agreement also includes a staffing mechanism for the association, according to which priority will be given to employing employees from within the system before applying for external employees. It was also determined that the rate for a convalescence day will be NIS 400, and employees will enjoy silk for holidays and gifts at family celebrations (employee or son’s wedding, bar mitzvah or birth).
The series of work on holidays / eves was also carried out, and agreements were reached regarding the payment of clothing and footwear fees, and the payment of telephone expenses to the relevant employees. At the beginning of each year, management will publish a vacation schedule for employees. Once a year, employees will enjoy a formation day. The agreement also stipulates a mechanism of tenure, and that it will not be possible to dismiss permanent employees without the consent of the committee.
Adi provides thousands of children and adults with disabilities with a rehabilitation package that includes housing, a medical response, an educational system, a social environment and solutions for integration into employment.
The negotiations were attended by the chairman of the Jerusalem area, Danny Bonfil, the secretary of a privileged Rafi trade union, the secretary of the trade union, Doreen Dahan Amram, Adv. Yaron Sinai from the Legal Bureau of the trade union and the chairman of the association, Ronen Raz
Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David: “I congratulate everyone who was involved in signing the agreement with the Adi Association. I am confident that the collective agreement will lead to the best relations and productivity in the workplace. “
Secretary of a trade union in the Jerusalem area, Rafi Meyuhas: “I welcome the agreement signed after more than five years with quite a few difficulties along the way. I hope that in the next agreement we can further improve the conditions of the workers. I would like to thank the chairman of the space, Danny Bonfil, for his partnership and efforts on the way to a successful conclusion of the negotiations.
Chairman of the Adi Association Committee, Ronen Raz: The former Adi Association, the Aleh Association, treats sponsors with great warmth and love. After a long time where the workers were without warmth and love financially, I am happy to say, after five and a half years, that ‘an agreement has been reached for me’. The agreement, which benefits the weakened workers, proves that if you set a goal with a ‘miracle’ (determination and patience), you can withstand all the difficulties and bumps in the road, until the goal is achieved. “
