The Tiberias International Marathon, in its various stages, will be launched on Friday (9.12) in the early morning hours from Gai Beach in Tiberias. The thousands of runners who will be medically secured by large forces of Med"A are expected to compete in the various events, including a full marathon (42.2 km"m) half marathon (21.1 k"m), from an allocation of 10 k"m and assigns 5 k"M.
Med forces will be deployed in the area of the event and along the entire length of the routes"A through intensive care mobility, ambulances and motorbikes"A. Transporting them with medical equipment on the tracks themselves alongside the runners. Squads of first aid providers will walk around the event area in order to provide a medical response to any need. Along the route and at the finish point, a marathon triage tent will be erected with ICU beds that will be staffed by"Medics and paramedics of Med"A and in which advanced medical equipment will be placed, including water baths with ice, the purpose of which is to quickly cool down victims of severe heat strokes.
