In the style of world music, pop and Hebrew soul: Akiva Natan’s third single – "in circles"

"in circles" It is a poem that ranges between everyday reality and its pains and a deep dimension of correction and reconciliation. A song that seeks to give hope to the possibility of turning the Sisyphean circles of life into circles of dance and growth.

Akiva Natan (33) singer-songwriter, writer and composer, facilitator of workshops and creator of the podcast Nach Adam. After staying in India and studying music in a variety of settings, he founded Anselm Yala with a group of musician friends. Akiva Natan grew up in Jerusalem and today in the Elah Valley. Dealing with the meeting point between creation – spirit – and healing. Accompanies personal growth processes together with tools from the East and West, (meditations in movement with breath and voice, alongside psychology and music therapy). He receives the main inspiration from the Jewish bookcase – Hasidism and Kabbalah, from nature, and from deep journeys within the soul.

Akiva teamed up with Naor Karmi (Thirst Project), producer, arranger and composer to create together Akiva’s first solo album. In the last two years, Akiva has been performing throughout the country with Shani Bruner, a pianist, composer and writer.

Words:

around around the crack goes,
Every day and his regret.
something has to happen to you,
It’s hard, and even more so if not

Strips my skin in the cold water
Invaders my days and nights
Dispels longing
In the depths of a cave is holding a snake
at the end of his tail
Dancing with you in the dark in circles
in circles.

You open the fridge again,
What are you trying to close?
The body is slow, but the heart is fast.
There is a stone in it, and a hole in the stone.

Strips my skin in the cold water
Invaders my days and nights
Dispels longing
Deep in a cave catches a snake
at the end of his tail
Dancing with you in the dark in circles
in circles

Around around a walking stone,
Every day and the diamond in it.
And if the cycle continues,
I can’t stop – until I come.
