At the 102th police station of the Dan district in the Holy Land, a report was received today (Tuesday) around 17:45 about a fire in a tailor’s workshop on Rabbi Akiva Street in Holon.
Firefighting and aerial crane teams were called to the scene from several stations in the Dan district and Merkaz district, under the command of the shift commander Rav Reshef Eitan Goldenberg and his deputy Reshef Noor Nasimov. When the fire crews arrived at the scene, the fighters noticed that there was a large incendiary charge and a structure containing asbestos, which is dangerous to breathe.
The teams worked in several sectors, including the use of a high-altitude crane to remove water from a height and broadcasting a situational image. After many efforts, the fire was brought under control and the incident ended without casualties but with heavy damage to the place.
The deputy commander of the Holon station, deputy Tafsar Oved Menashe, was present at the scene. In addition, there is an arson investigator, Major Nissim Abukhazira, who is investigating the circumstances of the arson outbreak.
