Two women in their thirties were injured a short time ago (Tuesday) in a self-inflicted car accident that happened on Menachem Begin Street, corner of Hagana in Rehovot. Medics and paramedics of the Rescue Union and MDA provided them with medical treatment and evacuated them to the hospital, with their condition currently being determined as moderate.
Yaakov Yungreis, a medic at the Rescue Unit, said: “This is the scene of a serious accident, the vehicle was badly damaged. At the scene of the accident, we provided first aid to two victims in their 30s.”
Baruch Greenwald, a medic at the Rescue Unit, added: “After the initial treatment at the scene of the accident, the victims were taken to the hospital in an intensive care unit, where their condition is determined to be moderate at this stage.”
The examiners of the Traffic Division of the Israel Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
