A 46-year-old motorcyclist was hit a short time ago (Thursday) by a vehicle on Highway 2 near the Havaslet interchange. MDA medics and paramedics with the assistance of MDA volunteers – Hetzla Sharon, gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera in moderate condition with bruises on his limbs.

Hanuach Varach and Golan Tairi, medics from the Sharon Rescue Department, who were the first to arrive at the scene, said: “When we arrived at the scene, we found a 45-year-old man lying on the road with bruises on his lower limbs, after colliding with a truck from behind. After we gave him initial medical treatment, he was taken to the intensive care unit for further treatment at the Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera, where his condition is classified as moderate.”

Police traffic department examiners are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
