The Public Broadcasting Corporation mourns the death of Moti Eden, former director of Channel One, and former head of the Haifa and North network at the Broadcasting Authority. Moti Eden covered the Galilee Peace War on behalf of Kol Israel. Before his appointment as the director of Channel 1, he served as the head of the Haifa and North network of Channel 1 and at the end of 2006 he retired from his job at the Broadcasting Authority.
The corporation stated: “Motti, who covered the First Lebanon War at the beginning of his journalistic career, served for years as the Broadcasting Authority’s northern correspondent and became one of the voices most identified with the coverage of the happenings in the north in the security, social and economic fields. Here, the Israel Broadcasting Corporation cherishes Moti Eden’s work and contribution to public broadcasting in Israel for decades, and participates in the family’s mourning.”
