The model and winner of the “Big Brother” program Tahonia Rubel lost her father, the late Aviya Rubel, just two weeks after her older sister, the late Alamanesh Biru, passed away at the age of 57, after a long battle with cancer.
In a story she posted on her Instagram, Rubel said in tears: “Tell me how cruel the world is if I also lost my father now? How cruel is the world if I haven’t gotten up from Shabbat and I’m going back to Shabbat? That’s it, I’m an orphan from my father.”

Two days ago, Rubel shared with her followers on Instagram about her dealing with the terrible tragedy after losing her sister, “I got up from seven, and I don’t know what I’m allowed and what I’m not allowed. On the one hand, you don’t want to sink into this grief and you don’t want to live the grief, but you have to live alongside it. How do you do that? Damn. I am in tears most of the day, crying all the time. Like a very very strange feeling. As if life goes on, it really does. But I don’t know… like I’m trying to come back to life, but I’m not exactly succeeding. weird feeling. really. What to do? How do you get out of it? How do you really get back to normal? And how do you go back to work and life? It’s like I don’t know what to do with myself.” Tahonia revealed in pain.
