A 55-year-old man collapsed a short time ago (Tuesday) on Gor Aryeh Street in Beit Shemesh. MDA ‘Rescue Team’ units, along with other MDA medics and paramedics, gave him medical treatment and performed CPR on him, while evacuating him to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.
Rescue team volunteers Simcha Olshin and Gad Halevi said: “When we arrived at the scene, we saw a 55-year-old man lying in the courtyard of a building with no pulse and no breathing after collapsing. Together with other MDA medics and paramedics and the rescue team, we immediately began to perform CPR on him, which included heart massages, respirations, and the administration of electric shocks. An MDA intensive care vehicle transfers him while continuing CPR to the shock room at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.”
