The Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer is updating this evening (Monday) that during an examination carried out at the hospital, it was suspected that some women received antibodies against rabies, after giving birth, instead of anti-D antibodies, due to human error.
In a statement from the hospital, they clarified that all the women involved have been updated and are being monitored. It was also stated that there is no danger to the women and the hospital is in continuous contact with them. The circumstances of the case are being investigated and a report has been submitted to the Ministry of Health.
