The Minister of Finance instructed today (Sunday) to expand the compensation plan up to about 40 km from the enclave, including the Golan Heights settlements and the conflict line settlements.
According to the regulations submitted to the Finance Committee, businesses located in areas affected by the war in a special and prolonged manner will receive full compensation for the month of October 2023, within the framework of the Property Tax and Compensation Fund Regulations (Payment of Compensation) (War Penalty and Indirect Damage) (Iron Swords) (Time Order) 2023.
The regulations will apply to the following areas: settlements up to 40 km from the perimeter (including Beer Sheva and Ashdod), settlements in the area of the conflict line (including the village of Varadim) and all the settlements of the Golan Heights (including the settlements of Hispin, Katzrin, Hadnes, Ramat Trump, Bnei Yehuda and Bokata).

The compensation will be given through three routes; Turnover track – compensates businesses due to a decrease in turnover, salary track – compensates businesses for the wages paid to employees who were absent from their work due to the security situation and farmers track.
