In the last day (Monday), the IDF forces, through the coordinator of government operations in the territories, allowed the transfer of Gazan babies from Shifa Hospital to continue receiving medical treatment in Egypt. The coordination was carried out at the request of the Egyptians, and the director of the Shifa Hospital in Gaza and through UN teams. An IDF spokesperson explained that: “This action is part of the humanitarian effort that Israel is making possible at the same time as fighting against Hamas in the Gaza Strip.”
