Ashdod municipality updates this evening (Sunday) following the rains that there are no unusual events as of this time all over the city.
The Ashdod municipality states that the city has 625 streets, 11,080 receptors, 150 km of underground transmission and an urban nature ring – Nahal Goesh, high seas and sandstorms.
The municipality stated that this is another precipitation system (the third since the arrival of the storm) that began at 4:30 p.m. and continues intermittently until now and is accompanied by wind gusts of up to 70 km/h, as mentioned without unusual events.
Regarding the continuation of the municipality’s preparations, they said that “in accordance with the alert traffic lights and the work plan of the winter headquarters, the district administrations and the municipal security teams are setting up masts all over the city, with an emphasis on receptors and red spots in order to make sure that the receptor is open and to identify items that may block the flow of water.”
Forecast for the rest of the night – morning – the precipitation system will weaken and the alert will be maintained until morning.
In addition, the municipality clarified that security alertness is also high as part of the work plans. All the employees are deployed to the limit and work with the goal of maintaining urban routine in any situation.
