Haifa: A 30-year-old woman fell down an elevator shaft

Rescue organization units were called a short time ago (Monday) to Halutz Street in Haifa following a report of a fall from a height. Together with MDA medics and paramedics, the drivers provided medical treatment to a 30-year-old woman with head and limb injuries, and she was evacuated in moderate condition for further treatment at Rambam Hospital in the city.

Rescue medic Leivi Proshinovsky, who was the first to arrive at the scene, reports: “When I arrived at the scene with the rescue ambulance I had, I was directed to an abandoned building where I found a 30-year-old woman suffering from head and limb injuries after tripping and falling down an elevator shaft from the third floor. Together with rescue and MDA medics and paramedics, we gave her Initial medical treatment including immobilization and dressings, and she was evacuated in moderate condition for further treatment in the trauma room at Rambam Hospital in the city.”
