A simulated missile drop event at the Emek Hospital

Preparing for combat in the northern sector. As part of an exercise by the fire and rescue services that was held this evening (Tuesday) at the Emek Medical Center in Afula, the hospital staffs with the fire forces in cooperation with the police units practiced various scenarios, including the fall of missiles on the Emek Medical Center grounds. The exercise was held in conjunction with the medical center's essential emergency officials.

Dr. Maor Meman, director of the Emek Medical Center: “Our teams at the Emek Medical Center continue to prepare for every possible scenario and this time, together with the rescue and rescue forces that joined us, there was an impressive presentation of the capabilities of the mobile units. Among other things, we practiced evacuating casualties from buildings and handling dangerous materials, and we also practiced the management of war from our protected underground war room.”

The administrative director at the Emek Medical Center, Oz Yair: “We see practice and assessments as mandatory measures these days, and are committed to constantly continuing preparations for various emergency situations. Thank you to the CBA and the police for cooperation that will bring us to a higher level of preparedness in a variety of possible scenarios.”
