Exciting community involvement. The volunteers of the World Federation of Moroccan Jewry led by the president of the federation Sam Ben Shatrit will visit thousands of war wounded in the coming weeks. The volunteers responded to the call of Ben Shatrit who recently announced a general recruitment among the federation's activists in dozens of branches in Israel and around the world and asked them to observe the mitzvot of visiting the sick and to visit the wounded IDF soldiers as well as civilians who were injured during the war and the October 7th massacre.

In a letter delivered by President Sam Ben Shatrit to the volunteers of the World Federation of Moroccan Jewry, he wrote, among other things: “Today, hundreds of IDF soldiers and civilians who were injured in the war are lying in the hospitals, the injustices imposed on us by Hamas. It is our duty to visit them and take an interest in their well-being and what we can do to help them and their family members.”
