The fire that broke out in the Upper Galilee as a result of rocket fire was brought under control

The fire fighters gained control of the fire that broke out today at noon (Tuesday) in an open area, as a result of rocket fire in the Malkia and Dishon area in the Upper Galilee. Two fire teams from the Galilee-Golan station under the command of Rabbi Reshef Shimon Ohion have been working since noon on a fire that broke out in the area.

The firefighters operate on site with the assistance of RTG and the volunteers of the “Home Guards” of the settlements of Malkia and Dishon. The “Home Guards” are volunteer units in rural areas outside the cities. The units have the advantage of familiarity with the area, rapid response and arrival, joining the firefighting teams and assistance with the means at their disposal.

For the time being, full control of the incident was achieved, and the fire fighters, RTG teams and “Shomeri Beit” volunteers prevented the fire from spreading to nearby settlements and farms.
