Drugs and other prohibited items were seized in the Zalmon prison

During the weekend, an activity was held in the Zalmon prison, which was named “Northern Arrow”. The unit's incarceration fighters, in cooperation with the Prisons Inspector General and the Central Unit (Yamz) North, entered several wings of the prison under the command of the unit's commander, Lieutenant Gonder Yuval Erlich.

During the searches, about 21 plastic capsules were found for swallowing a substance suspected to be a drug removed inside a package of plastic plates. In addition, during a search in a phone book, a substance suspected to be a dangerous drug weighing 2.3 grams was seized.

In a search that was carried out in another wing of the prison, discs that may contain media and audio files were found in the possession of a prisoner who is prohibited from possessing such objects.
Also caught in the search were objects prohibited in use such as: a razor, an improvised spike, a sharpened piece of iron (flah) and three improvised DVD players. All the prisoners involved will be tried and disciplinary punished by the commander of the unit.
