An IDF fighter, the grandson of a former MK fell in the battle in Rafah

The Binyamin Regional Council announced tonight (Tuesday) about the death during the battle in Rafah of IDF fighter Yair Levin, a resident of Givat Harel settlement in Binyamin.

Yair, a Givat patrol fighter, a graduate of the seminary in Jaffa, previously studied at the Yeshiva Ehvat Chaim in Kochav HaShahar. He is the grandson of former MK Moshe Feiglin.

“The Binyamin Council embraces the dear family at this difficult time, and together with the Givat Harel community will help them with whatever it takes.”, the council's statement said.

The head of the Binyamin Regional Council and chairman of the Yesha Council Israel Gantz said: “Yair, a handsome young man, one of the best of our sons, fell today as a hero in the battles in Rafah against our damned enemies in Gaza. He dreamed of enlisting in the Givat patrol, he trained for this in order to be the best there is in defense The people and the country and so it was. We send a big hug to the parents, as well as to grandparents Moshe and Tzipi Feiglin. We owe Yair and his friends the victory that will come and the rise of our country.”
