The IDF announced that the cease-fires will take place every day in the city of Rafah, starting at 8:00 a.m. and lasting until 7:00 p.m. These cease-fires will remain in effect until further notice.

The purpose of the ceasefire is to allow the passage of humanitarian aid through the Kerem Shalom crossing and from there to the various parts of the Gaza Strip through the Salah al-Din axis and to the north. The aid will include the supply of food, medicine and medical equipment to the residents. The IDF emphasized that the coordination of the move was done in cooperation with the UN and international aid organizations.

“This is another step in the humanitarian aid efforts carried out by the IDF and the coordination of government operations in the territories since the beginning of the war. The IDF will continue to support humanitarian efforts in the field.” It was stated in the announcement of the IDF spokesman.
