In the heroic battles in the Gaza Strip, the 49-year-old reserve fighter Elon Weiss, a resident of the village of Psagot in Binyamin, fell.

Alon, married to Neta, father of seven children and grandfather to a granddaughter. He volunteered for the reserves and served since Simchat Torah as an armored fighter. Alon is an educator and one of the pillars of the Psagot community.
