Haim Bibbs, Mayor of Modi'in Maccabim Re'ot and Chairman of the Local Government Center in Israel: “At a good time we have arrived at the moment we have all been waiting for for a long time – the inauguration of the Magen David Adom station in its new location on Emek Elah Street in Modi'in Maccabim Re'ot. MDA has been one of the most important organizations in the State of Israel since its inception.'

“We all see the work of the organization's employees and volunteers in routine and emergencies, and especially in the 'Iron Swords' war, and it is not appropriate that this organization, for the 1,200 volunteers, residents of the city who work in it, should have a warm home in the city of Modi'in Maccabim Reut,” he added.

Sa'ar Shai, director of Eshkol Modi'in at the MDA, said: “This new shelter will serve the station's employees and volunteers for the benefit of the city's residents and will continue to facilitate the spirit of volunteering and the promotion of saving lives and providing medical care. In the city of Modi'in there is even a community intensive care unit donated by the city's residents, with the help of which the residents receive the best treatment – this indicates the unique nature of the chiefs and the community involvement that exists in the city.”

Efi Bar, director of the Ayalon region of the MDA, said that “the city of Modiin has been blessed with volunteers and workers who care about community resilience and the desire to contribute. This new abode will be a worthy place for the blessed and important work of saving lives done by the volunteers and employees of the Modi'in station, which the old station is already small in size.”

Eli Bin, CEO of MDA, added that “there is a station here for the glory of the State of Israel and it is happening thanks to special people from the Netherlands led by Chairwoman Marian and Switzerland from great people, Jews and non-Jews who have contributed to strengthen the issue of saving lives in the State of Israel and with an emphasis on the city of Modi'in Maccabim evil.”

“Mayor Mr. Bibbs, you should know that the station in the city is one of the most beautiful stations we have, we haven't built on such a scale and to such standards for many, many years. It's not for nothing that you have here about 1200 quality volunteers at the highest level who provide answers in the city itself and its surroundings. Thanks to the members of the city council and the mayor who also serves as the chairman of the local government. And a final thank you to the people of MDA Modi'in, continue to do your faithful work and save lives,” he added.
