Because of a debt of NIS 11.5 million to the Tax Authority: 9 luxury vehicles were confiscated

Employees of the National Collection Enforcement Unit at the Tax Authority conducted an operation in the Ramla area in which they located and impounded vehicles belonging to taxpayers who had accrued VAT and income tax debts in the total amount of approximately NIS 11.5 million. As part of the operation, nine vehicles were impounded, including luxury vehicles. Two of the vehicles were released on the spot After the car owners paid off their debt, in addition to the employees and policemen of the national collection enforcement unit, policemen from the Ramla station and policemen of the YSM and MGB participated in the operation.

This operation was conducted as part of the Tax Authority's ongoing fight against tax evaders and for the collection of real tax from the entire population, and as part of the joint effort of the enforcement authorities to thwart crime and increase governance.
