The special task force thwarted serious criminal activity in Netanya

A special task force of the Central District was foiled tonight (Wednesday) in Netanya at the end of a covert and targeted operation, a serious criminal activity, when it uncovered a stockpile of weapons including weapons, hand grenades and explosives and now the police detectives have arrested three suspects in their possession

Detectives and police officers of the Netanya station acted proactively in cooperation with other forces from the Central District against the crimes of illegal possession and use of weapons by perpetrators of crime. The task force managed to uncover in an underground parking lot in the city – an M4 type weapon and matching cartridges, a gun, six grenades, an explosive brick and a lot of ammunition.

After the seizure of the stockpile of weapons, the task force continued with an accelerated investigation and now, at the end of a determined chase in the city, the detectives of the Netanya station arrested a suspect in their possession – a 42-year-old resident of the city and two other suspects – residents of Netanya, also in their 20s.
