Fighting for the return of the kidnapped is a noble task

Chief of Staff Hertzi Halevi came today (Wednesday) to meet the new recruits for the Nahal and Kafir brigades at the recruiting office in Tel Hashomer and told them: “You are enlisting to be fighters. This is the best choice someone your age can make in the State of Israel in 2024.”

According to the Chief of Staff: “We would like as many people as possible from all parts of Israeli society to come to experience this pride of enlisting in the IDF, and to experience this meeting, an obligation which is a very great privilege to protect the country and to be together,

The Chief of Staff emphasized: “Different people for the same goal. A very valuable task, truly of moral superiority to return our civilians who were kidnapped into the Gaza Strip home. For a fighter in the IDF, fighting to create the conditions to return our kidnapped people, our citizens who were kidnapped to enemy territory, is a noble task, it is a task for which each of us is willing to risk his life and is willing to do anything to succeed in it.
Looking at you is also a very, very great Israeli pride. So I wish you on behalf of the entire IDF, and on behalf of the State of Israel, that you have a successful recruitment, do good for the defense of the State of Israel – good luck.”
