IDF forces conducted a targeted operation at a school where terrorists were hiding

Last week, IDF and Shin Bet forces under the command of the Northern Brigade in the Gaza Division carried out a targeted operation in a civilian area in Beit Hanon following intelligence indications of the presence of terrorists there.

Battalion 890, Battalion 97, engineering forces, armor, Sheldag unit, unit 504 and Shin Bet forces took part in the operation that raided a central building where two buildings that were used as schools are located, following intelligence that indicated the presence of terrorists from the terrorist organizations Hamas and Islamic Jihad Palestinians who are in the building and use the civilians staying there as a human shield.

Before the forces entered the building, the forces announced and called for the evacuation of the citizens from the building, for their safety. The fighters arrested a number of terrorists from the terrorist organizations in a targeted and precise manner while avoiding harming the civilian population on the spot. In addition, during the operation, a number of terrorists who tried to harm the troops were eliminated.
