Publication was allowed: an IDF soldier was killed and two were wounded in the fighting in the southern Gaza Strip

The IDF Spokesman this morning (Tuesday) allowed the publication that Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Nitzan Shasler, 21 years old from Hadera, a fighter in Battalion 7155 in the 'Hod Hanit' detachment (55) was killed yesterday in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip. This brought to 523 the number of war dead whose names were allowed to be published.

In addition, in the battle in which Major General (Res.) Nitzan Shasler died, a reservist in the 7155th Battalion was seriously wounded in the 'Hod Hanit' formation (55).

Also, a fighter in the 603rd Engineering Battalion in the 'Saar Megolan' formation (7) was seriously injured yesterday in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
