Dozens of interceptions within minutes: this is how the skies of the State of Israel were managed during the dramatic moments of the interception. Fighter jets, air defense batteries, and partners from foreign countries intercepted on Saturday night hundreds of air targets aimed at the territory of the State of Israel. The management of the sky image was carried out in the air control unit and the air force pit. Shortly after the first discoveries, the unit and the cell began to build the picture of the battle in the sky, and together, responded to every hostile target that was detected.

The control units and the control room in the hole, are responsible for the ongoing defense of the skies of the State of Israel and active defense, maneuvering between the intelligence assessments, and the picture of the sky, up to the management of the fighter planes. During those 12 dramatic hours, the occupants and commanders of the control unit and the control room worked at full capacity, sent dozens of planes to the challenging interception missions, managed dozens of missile interceptors that were launched, distributed warnings to the rear, and controlled the sky image for maximum protection of the skies of the State of Israel.
