Changes in traffic and security arrangements on Saturday night due to the protest

The Israel Police announced this evening (Thursday) changes to the traffic arrangements and security of the protest event planned for Saturday night, 4/20/24, at the Kaplan Junction in Tel Aviv after approving the request to hold the protest, in accordance with the conditions established with the organizers this coming Saturday night at the Kaplan Junction in Tel Aviv. Near Azrieli Mall. Part of Kaplan Street was closed to the protestors, with the aim of allowing a balance between the freedom to protest legitimately, and the freedom of movement with minimal disruption to routine.

In preparation for the planned protest, the police are preparing in large forces, with the aim of securing the participants in the protest and maintaining their safety, along with directing traffic and maintaining public order in the protest.

Below is a breakdown of the axis blockages:
Starting at 17:00, the following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic:
▪ Kaplan Street will be blocked from Ibn Gvirol Street to Menachem Begin Street in both directions.
▪ Kaplan intersection, Menachem Begin road to the north and south (traffic is directed to the sinkholes).
▪ Laskov Street will be blocked from Karlibach Street to Kaplan Street in the north direction
▪ Haftman Street will be blocked from Shaprincek Street to Laskov Street in the west direction
▪ Leonardo Da Vinci Street will be blocked from Heftman Street to Kaplan Street heading north
▪ Dubnov St. will be blocked from Shaul Hamelech St. to Kaplan St. in the south direction
Daniel Frish Street will be blocked from Ibn Gvirol Street to Dubnov Street in the east direction

Starting at 18:00, the following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic:
▪ Ascents to the Peace Interchange from the north and south
▪ Shaul Hamelech Ave. will be blocked from Menachem Begin Street to Weizman Street in both directions

The following streets may be closed during the evening:
Jabotinsky (Ramat Gan) will be blocked from Abba Hillel Street at the crossroad heading south
Jabotinsky (Ramat Gan) will be blocked at the exit from Zisman St. heading west
▪Arabi Nahal (Ramat Gan) corner of Ariel Sharon will be blocked in the direction of the crossroads

The instructions of the police officers stationed at the roadblocks must be obeyed and alternative routes must be used. You can use the waze app.
