A volley of 17 rockets was fired about an hour ago (Monday) from Lebanese territory towards Kiryat Shmona and the Upper Galilee settlements. The Iron Dome system intercepted 13 of them and the rest fell in open areas. No casualties were reported.
The Hamas branch in Lebanon took responsibility for the shooting and an official statement it published read: “In the last hour, the al-Qassam Brigades from southern Lebanon bombarded the headquarters of the 769th Brigade in Kiryat Shmona, with a large volley of rockets. This is in response to the massacres of the Zionist enemy in Gaza and the West Bank.”
