The head of the Negev National Police was interviewed this evening (Saturday) by Amit Segal and Ben Caspit on the Meet the Press program and said that the IDF was very close to capturing Sinwar. “Sinwar is on borrowed time. He escaped from shelter to shelter, we were very close to him.'' he said.
“Some say even very close at one point. Maybe even less than a few days. As was the case with bin Laden and the Americans, he will not get out alive, patience is needed,” he added.
