A 20-year-old man was brought to the Galilee Medical Center this morning (Tuesday), in moderate to serious condition after he was bitten on the hand by a viper near the northern border.
The hospital reported that the young man, who suffered from vomiting, diarrhea and low blood pressure, was admitted to the shock room, where he was treated with anti-venom serum. After his condition stabilized, he was admitted to the general intensive care unit.
