A motorcyclist about 40 years old collided with a car a short time ago (Friday) on Route 6 near Kfar Menachem. MDA paramedics who were called to the scene of the accident found the motorcyclist trapped under the vehicle and without signs of life and had to pronounce him dead on the spot.
Emergency medicine medics at MDA Tal Edinger and Ido Ozeri said: “We arrived at the scene of the incident and saw a motorcyclist trapped under the vehicle. After rescue operations, we conducted medical tests, but the intensive care team had to pronounce him dead.”
The examiners of the Traffic Division of the Israel Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
It should be noted that this is the fifth death tonight on the country's roads. A traffic police volunteer and an employee of Nativ Israel were killed earlier this evening while clearing an intersection after a demonstration held on Highway 1 near the Inaba interchange. On Route 6 near the Eyal interchange, a 20-year-old man was killed when a car overturned, and a 30-year-old man was seriously injured. In another accident near the settlement of Nili, a 40-year-old woman was killed and four others were injured, including a 30-year-old man in serious condition.
